There’s something new in the air at the Fountain. 💃🔥
This September, Forever Flamenco welcomes three international artists making their Fountain Theatre debuts alongside beloved Artistic Director Lakshmi Basile “La Chimi.”
Together, this extraordinary group of seasoned artists explores “aire”: that elusive quality in Flamenco that lives somewhere between presence, feeling, rhythm, and soul.
And we’re keeping a few surprises.
Over the coming days, we’ll reveal the artists one by one, building toward a one-night-only encounter between Flamenco artists from around the world, meeting on the Fountain stage for the very first time.

Today, the Fountain community mourns the loss of one of our greatest champions, Dorothy Wolpert.

As the founding Chair of the Fountain Theatre's Board of Directors, Dorothy helped build the foundation upon which our theatre continues to thrive. Her steadfast leadership, generosity, and unwavering belief in our mission shaped the Fountain in countless ways.

Dorothy also understood that theatre is about more than what happens onstage. She introduced countless people to the Fountain, forged lasting friendships, and brought our community together with warmth, grace, and enthusiasm.

To honor her extraordinary legacy and the countless conversations, connections, and memories she helped create here, the Fountain Café will be renamed The Dorothy Wolpert Café.

Her impact will continue to be felt every time our community gathers. We extend our deepest condolences to Dorothy's family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
