Come hear from this amazing hero on Wednesday October 14 at 12:00 PM on Zoom. Register for free here https://naamat.givevirtuous.org/Event/leading-under-fire-on-october-7-with-karni-guez/?segmentCode=10726ELF

On October 7, Karni Guez and her crew fought for 17 straight hours. As commander of the IDF's first all-female tank unit, she led what's believed to be the first tank battle ever commanded by a woman.

Karni's place was made possible by generations of women who fought for the right to serve. NAAMAT has been part of that fight in Israel for decades, and her story is part of ours.

Hear Karni in her own words at our virtual October 7th commemoration:
🗓 Wednesday, October 14
🕒 3:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM CT / 12:00 PM PT / 10:00 PM (22:00) in Israel (IDT)

A Seat at the Table: a three-part virtual series, featuring renowned Vermont-based journalist Rachel Feldman, created to give attendees practical, usable tools to organize locally and push back against antizionism right in your own backyard — your campus, your school board, your neighborhood, your city council.
Our second session is a special k-12 edition that will focus more closely on antizionism in schools and school boards. Rachel will have a special guest: Corinna Shulamit Dodson. Corinna is an Israeli-American educator, consultant, researcher, and strategist based in Vermont, who helped found and build Shalom Alliance of Vermont, creating the first statewide platform focused on the inclusion and safety of Jewish students and staff in K–12 schools. Dear Members and Friends,

As we move through the High Holy Days, from the joy of Rosh Hashanah into the reflective days leading up to Yom Kippur, we wanted to reach out to our entire NA'AMAT USA Western community.

This season calls us to look inward, to reflect on the past year and recommit ourselves to the values that matter most. For NA'AMAT, that has always meant standing up for women, children, and families in Israel who need a voice and a helping hand. Whether it's supporting a woman rebuilding her life after violence, giving a child access to quality education, or advancing women's rights, our mission is a living expression of the values this season asks us to renew.

As you reflect during these High Holy Days, we hope you feel proud of the impact we've made together this past year and inspired for the work still ahead.

As always, we hold Israel and its people close to our hearts and continue praying for its safety and peace.

Wishing you and your loved ones a meaningful Yom Kippur and a G'mar Chatimah Tovah. May you be sealed for a year of health, peace, and continued purpose.

Much success to all our students! Kanot is just one of NA'AMAT schools (youth village) in Israel that gives a chance to a child where they felt they did not have one before. If you want to support Kanot and other NA'AMAT schools please click here https://naamat.org/donate/

A new school year has begun at NA’AMAT Kanot Youth Village! 📚

The start of the school year brought excitement and new beginnings to Kanot Middle School, where 370 students in grades 7–9 are beginning another year of learning and growth.

This year is especially meaningful with the completion of the second floor of the middle school, ready to welcome students as they return to their classrooms.

Kanot Youth Village is home to nearly 700 students in grades 7–12, providing them with education, support, opportunities, and the tools to build a brighter future.

We are deeply grateful to our partners who help make this work possible, with special appreciation to NA’AMAT Canada for its continued support of Kanot and its students.

Wishing all our students a successful, meaningful, and inspiring school year! 💜

Bat Galim chapter recently had a Jewish Art of micro-calligraphy program with introduction by nationally known Jewish Art curator and advisor Ann H.G, followed by a workshop led by NA’AMAT Bat Galim member Maura M. Micro-calligraphy, also known as micrography, is a unique art form where microscopic letters form pictorial designs.
