Join our friends at GHF, Saturday, November 2, LIVE and FREE in the Forum for GHF Conversations - Gifted Intensity: Positive Disintegration & PDA. First, founding president of the Dabrowski Center and co-host the Positive Disintegration Podcast, Chris Wells PhD, explores how gifted emotional and intellectual challenges serve as catalysts for personal growth and deeper self-understanding.

Then, Wandering Brightly's Marni Kammersell and our own VP and Director of Press, Marna Wohlfeld, unpack Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and discuss support strategy for the whole family. Each 45-minute topic will be followed by an additional 45 minutes of facilitated conversation among GHF’s friendly and eager-to-share community members. Our Story

Kasi Peters and Adriane Ransom met in early 2013 while training to become SENG-Model Parent Group Facilitators. They were passionate about giftedness and wanted a way to offer support to a community that so severely lacks understanding.

Kasi is a music therapist and homeschooling parent to two highly to profoundly gifted children. She spends much of her time researching about the special needs of the gifted. Adriane is a pediatric occupational therapist and owner of Bloom Pediatrics in West Los Angeles. She is also the mother of four children, three of whom have been identified as highly to profoundly gifted. Since meeting in 2013, Kasi and Adriane have facilitated discussion groups for parents of gifted children and have presented to schools and parent groups about the social and emotional implications of giftedness. Together, they helped to found the Westside of Los Angeles Gifted Group, an in-person and online community of friendship and support for families with gifted children.

We understand and care deeply about those in the gifted community.

Raising square pegs in a world full of round holes can be extremely challenging. Let us help you find your path.
