Meet our newest intake and sammy imposter, Tundra! 😍 We rescued Tundra from Devore shelter last Thursday. We think Tundra might be a Pyrenees Husky mix. He’s cute as can be! His foster says he’s very sweet and easy going. Tundra is recovering from kennel cough right now and will be neutered after that. He’ll be available for adoption once he’s healthy and neutered.

Koda is a friendly, happy boy who loves people and being pet. He’s a little timid in new places but warms up quickly. If you call his name, he’ll jump right into your lap, and he likes to be wherever you are.

He loves food, treats, and playing, and he’s been getting more playful with the dogs in his foster home. He’s a sleepy guy most of the day but really enjoys his night walks, and he’s a pretty good walker. He’s crate trained at night and does well with other dogs once he’s had time to settle in.

Adopt Kevin 🐾

Kevin is a sweet 7 year old boy who’s all about his people. He’s a total velcro dog and follows his foster family everywhere, including into the shower! lol Hist foster family says he would love a home with a yard, another dog in the house, or a family that’s home a lot or takes him along with them.

He’s not really into toys or bones, but he loves sniffing around outside, being pet, and long walks with a little jogging mixed in. He’s easygoing out in public and goes just about everywhere with his foster family.

He’s done well with most dogs at the beach, the park, and with friends, and he’s been great with kids, even the loud, energetic ones. He knows “sit” and is working on “come.”

Kevin has some separation anxiety and would do best in a home where he’s not left alone for long stretches. If that sounds like your home, we’d love to introduce you. Submit an application on our website or send us a DM!

Many of you will remember Lullaby, now named Nash, who came to us from ARC Inland Empire back in March. He landed an awesome foster mom who ultimately ended up adopting him. His mom just reached out to us today because he was just diagnosed with Lymphoma. She is heartbroken and doing everything she can to fight for her sweet boy.

Nash is a SoCal Sammy Rescue alum for life. And we’re here to help his mom in any way we can. She has already spent $6k on vet bills and we’d love to ease the financial stress for her. Foster needed for Archie 🐾

Archie is 3 years old and he’s a healthy, happy dude. He’s good with kids, dogs, cats, and people. He’s high energy and would love a home where he can get lots of exercise and/or room to run and play with other dogs.

His family is ready to surrender him as soon as we have a foster lined up.

Join us for Pours for Paws, a fundraiser for SoCal Samoyed Rescue!

We’re teaming up with Vinya in San Diego on September 19th. Come sip something good for a good cause — 15% of proceeds go straight to SoCal Samoyed Rescue.

We’ll have adoptable pups out front, so you can meet them before or after you head inside. We’ll share exactly who’s coming as we get closer to the date, so keep an eye on our stories.
