any means necessary. LGLofT Alumni are also encouraged to work closely with LGL de UCLA. In the past alumni have participated in the Revlon Walk on Mother's Day in support of finding a cure for breast and ovarian cancer, and various other events and socials with LGL de UCLA. Additionally, members of LGLofTomorrow provide a stepping stone for recent UCLA graduates with opportunities to join the workforce in various fields including but not limited to Education, Public Policy, Law, Medicine, Social Services and Urban Planning.

News to celebrate!
"The Pulitzer Prize board, the organization that gives out one of the most prestigious awards in journalism and literature, has announced that two Latinas will be joining the board: Miami Herald Executive Editor Aminda Marques and playwright Quiara Alegria Hudes." http://bit.ly/TsJ82g

Two Latinas, Quiara Alegria Hudes and Aminda Marques Gonzalez, will join the Pulitzer Prize board. Marques works as the executive editor at the Miami Herald, while Hudes works as a playwright, who wrote In the Heights.
