I know it’s been awhile since you’ve heard from us, but we’ve been busy planning some fun things behind-the-scenes and can’t wait to share more of what we have in store for 2022!
This month, we are collaborating with our friends at the nonprofit, Once Upon a Room. They provide an invaluable service to children in the hospital who are fighting serious, life threatening illnesses or acute trauma - which often results in permanent disabilities, months of medical treatment and extended inpatient and outpatient care. It can be hard to be away from home and in a medical facility for such a long amount of time.
Through personalized hospital room makeovers, decorating and seasonal events and programs, Once Upon A Room are able to bring hope and joy to a child’s hospital stay and beyond. The Change 4 Children’s team will also be going into hospitals to decorate and makeover rooms as part of our work with them.
To kick-off our new collaboration with Once Upon A Room, we have issued a $25,000 matching challenge to them! What does that mean?
For every dollar raised between NOW and April 15th by Once Upon A Room, Change 4 Children’s will match these donations dollar-for-dollar – up to $25,000! If you’d like to make a donation, your gift today can have double the impact and bring twice as much joy to more children who are in the hospital.
It is through mutually beneficial collaborations like this one, Change 4 Children’s will continue to grow and reach new like-minded audiences and donors.
