Did you know Toastmasters got a big membership boost back on January 19, 1926? 🎉
That’s when the club we now know as Anaheim Club 2 held its very first meeting at the Marigold Café in Anaheim, California. Nearly 100 years later, the story continues. ✨

🌟 Member Spotlight: Ep McKnight Shines at District 52 Conference! 🌟

We’re thrilled to celebrate our very own Ep McKnight, who represented Valley Stars Toastmasters with brilliance and authenticity at the District 52 Toastmasters Conference!

🎤 Ep was invited to open the morning session as the inspirational speaker, setting the tone for a powerful day with her talk:
“Be You, Everybody Else Is Taken!”
In harmony with the Conference theme, “Voice Your Potential,” she added her own empowering twist:
✨ “If you don’t, who will? If not now, then when?”

The love and accolades she received afterward—hugs, smiles, and heartfelt compliments—confirmed what we already know: when Ep speaks from the heart, she truly inspires.

The day was filled with:
🔹 Engaging workshops
🔹 Dynamic keynote and guest speakers
🔹 Evaluation and speaker competitions
🔹 Tons of networking and… raffle prizes! 🎁

To top it all off, 2018 World Champion of Public Speaking, Ramona Smith, closed the Conference with an unforgettable message.

💬 “Good memories are the bedrock of the soul,” says Ep—and this was a day to remember!

📸 Swipe through for a few moments from this amazing day.

We are so proud of you, Ep! Keep voicing your potential—you inspire us all! 🙌

What a Night! 🤩
ValleyStars Toastmasters had an incredible time performing Toastmasters Anonymous by the radiant Dr.Ep McKnight at the Simi Valley 10-Minute Stage Play Festival!
From laughter to heartfelt moments, the energy in the room was unforgettable.
Huge thanks to Nikao Imani Productions for creating space for BPOC playwrights and family-friendly stories — and for supporting vital causes like IMAGO DEI, breast cancer, and anti-trafficking efforts.

We’re honored to be part of this powerful evening!
