We at PIECES pride ourselves in providing opportunities in the arts to young people through their transition from childhood into adulthood. Many of our members find it nearly impossible to pursue a career or education in the arts or other fields, mostly due to financial stresses. Not to mention, our members are no longer eligible for similar free programs because of their age and often come from u

nder-served communities. We support young adults ages 18-25 who are freshly out of high school, did not complete high school, who are in need direction, need to find positive/productive things to do with their time and are in need of a little motivation and inspiration. We believe that everyone has artistic talents that should be explored and nurtured. We are driven by the power and the opportunities that creativity unlocks. We have seen the magical transformations that the arts produce time and time again through our members.

Make sure to register early for one of these two workshops. Learn techniques in making jewelry and other metal objects with Monica.

She will be sharing her skills in metalsmithing and jewelry making with two separate workshops, one on the 29th and the other on the 30th of this month!

Monica has taught different subjects for PIECES, including dance, polymer clay sculpture and arts and crafts.
