My son asked how I can laugh so hard so often when I haven’t had a cocktail or smoked pot. My answer — pure joy.

I think these three pictures sum up how I go through life.

When I turn a corner, I look to see what the hell I get to experience now!
I jump right in whether I know the right moves or not.
Then I share what I learned from that experience.

This lifestyle, the Leigh way, has been a lot of fun and quite delightful. Yes, I have been brought to my knees, felt completely devastated and unimaginable pain. I also learned that when all the pain has flowed through me, and I quiet my mind, I can get to the learning and skip the suffering.

My life shifted in the biggest way when I started paying attention to my body.

When it felt good, I did more of the same. When it became stressed, I pinpointed the cause and gently let it go. Sometimes I let go of a lifestyle choice and sometimes a person.

Change can hurt and can feel scary; it’s also inevitable. Embrace change. Take care of yourself. Love yourself dang it.
