Two positions available in Palms!

The Motor Avenue Farmers Market is seeking someone over 18 to work Sundays. Heavy lifting required. Duties include setting up tables and tents, barricades, operating machinery, street cleaning, gardening work, and general market operations.

We are also helping a local business hire for a full-time office position. Duties include computer projects, greeting customers, and answering phones.

Vegan Joint Update!!!! Once again the contractor did not pass inspection and they are coming back for the third time to block this restaurant.

We Need Your Help—Let’s Show Up for a Local Favorite

Ongoing construction aimed at improving accessibility is creating a real challenge for one of our beloved neighborhood spots—and it’s going to last for weeks.

The Vegan Joint is OPEN, but reduced access is hurting business.

We’re asking our community to step up this weekend:
• Order takeout
• Dine in (use the side entrance next to the barbershop)
• Spread the word

Hnoi and her team have been part of what makes Palms special. Now it’s our turn to have their back.

If we all show up, we can make a real difference.

This guy in this truck broke into my buddies car and stole his backpack with work, computer, credit cards, and more. Ran around shopping. Quickly totaling up thousands of dollars in charges. Culver City and Palms fam let’s find this guy. Culver City PD and LAPD would very much like to speak with him. If you know this guy or see this van, let me know or call the police directly.
