About Us:

Youth Champions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth, ages 15-18, from underserved communities. Founded in 2017, our mission is to provide these young individuals with the skills, resources, and mentorship they need to thrive in education, work, and life. Through a paid internship program, Youth Champions offers students workshops on leadership, financial literacy,

career exploration, and personal development, all at no cost to participants. Our program not only helps students develop critical life skills but also introduces them to new career opportunities through field trips, industry speakers, and mentorship from professionals in various fields. With the support of generous donors and partnerships with local schools, Youth Champions has served over 1,000 students, helping them unlock their potential and create brighter futures. At Youth Champions, we believe in the power of youth to change their mindset and their own lives and through that change their community and future. For Francisco, Youth Champions completely shifted that perspective.

What started as a simple idea of what a leader should be turned into something much deeper. Through real conversations, shared experiences, and learning alongside others, he began to understand that leadership is about listening, showing up, and being willing to learn every step of the way.
