📢Final Push for Public Bank LA Funding
We’ve reached over 900 letters sent and with your support, we can fully fund the Public Bank Feasibility Study and take a critical step toward financial justice in Los Angeles.
The City’s proposed budget now includes a dedicated line item for the public bank, and Councilmembers Eunisses Hernandez (CD1), Hugo Soto-Martínez (CD13), and Ysabel Jurado (CD14) have each pledged discretionary funds to support the effort. Their leadership signals strong momentum but to secure the remaining funding, we need action from the Budget & Finance and Government Operations Committees.

At a time of historic budget deficits, Los Angeles needs strategic, long-term solutions. A public bank would allow our city to reinvest its own dollars into critical priorities such as:
✔️ Affordable housing
✔️ Green infrastructure
✔️ Small business development
✔️ Sustainable economic growth
Let’s build a more equitable, resilient future for Los Angeles!
