IN THE SEA productions IN THE SEA productions is a Non Profit Environmental Production Company. We strive to create an appreciation and respect towards our oceans & coastlines.

IN THE SEA productions is a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation launched during the summer of 2010. Committed to help preserve the Oceans, Coastlines and its Marine environment through film, starting by building awareness and awake interest in environmentally conscious sports. IN THE SEA productions was born from a desire to continue the message that Mexican Champion surfer, Walter Ca

loca, left to the world before passing during the summer of 2010. His message was dedicated to the preservation of surfing coastlines and the marine environment as a whole. He was physically involved in beach clean‐ups, a supporter of all beach protection movements and he taught kids to surf and find interest in the water sport.

Rock climber and Patagonia founder, Yvon Chouinard, has given his company away. Valued at about $3 billion, and some $100 million a year are going to be used to combat climate change and protect undeveloped land around the globe.

“El valor del agua y el rol de los glaciares

🌊 Fui a navegar las aguas en las que está ubicado el glaciar Perito Moreno, con el objetivo de cumplir un sueño: transmitir, a través del deporte náutico, un mensaje de cuidado de nuestras aguas y de la importancia de los glaciares.

🏄🏻‍♂️ Es la primera vez en la historia en que se foileó en las aguas de deshielo del Lago Argentino y estar allá me puso en contacto con lo increíble que es este glaciar y lo poco que sabemos de su funcionamiento y rol en el planeta.

🧐 Fui a conocer los glaciares, me puse a investigar sobre la importancia de estas masas de hielo, el tema del agua dulce, las represas del río Santa Cruz, los derretimientos... y lo conecté a los basurales, que es el proyecto en el que vengo trabajando desde hace años a través de .tv Simplificando entendí que en los basurales se genera gas metano, en un contexto de crisis climática y, si yo disminuyo la cantidad de residuos de un basural, estoy ayudando directamente al cuidado de los glaciares.

🙏🏻 Mi deseo como deportista es cuidar el lugar que tanto amo y tanto me da y trascender el mensaje de que no es para mí, sino que es para todos. Aquellos que amamos el agua, debemos protegerla.

Our Story

IN THE SEA productions is a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation launched during the summer of 2010, as an environmental film Production Company committed to helping preserve Oceans, coastlines and it’s marine environment through film. At IN THE SEA productions, we believe through film and video, we can reach a wider audience and transmit the message to greater communities, beginning with those who are already likeminded and share a pre-established interest in water sports. The purpose is to address the importance of the preservation of the Ocean, and educate those unfamiliar with the subject, providing the information necessary for everyone to participate individually on a positive change. Whilst we continue our support to local surfing schools to promote surfing and other environmentally conscious water sports, promote beach clean ups, and also endorse as many entities and organizations that support these same issues. IN THE SEA productions was born from a desire to continue the message that Mexican Champion surfer, Walter Caloca, left to the world before passing away during the summer of 2010. His message was dedicated to the preservation of surfing coastlines and the marine environment as a whole. He was physically involved in beach clean‐ups, a supporter of all beach protection movements and he taught kids to surf and find interest in the water sport. Our first production is ‟In The Sea You’ll Find Me” an eco-surfing documentary about the healing power of the Ocean.
