Year after year, Team Ravishing Rose keeps showing up, remembering, and never giving up 🌹

Formed in loving memory of Rose Ratcliff, Team Ravishing Rose has been part of the LA Cancer Challenge since 2007. After losing her mom to pancreatic cancer at just 54, Jen began participating that same year and has returned every year since.

For Jen, the LACC is more than a walk or fundraiser. It’s a way to keep her mom’s memory and spirit alive while raising funds and awareness to help other families have a different outcome. Their incredible dedication earned Team Ravishing Rose recognition as a 2025 Never Give Up Awardee. 💜

Meet Team Ohana Means Family: In Memory of Kay Shimizu

Since 2012, Team Ohana Means Family has come together in memory of Kay Shimizu, while also honoring the many friends and loved ones they have lost to pancreatic cancer. Their message is simple but powerful: wherever we are, together we can make a difference.

Each year, team members join the LA Cancer Challenge both in person at UCLA and virtually, proving that no matter the distance, you can still come together as one team.

Every LACC team has a story, and sharing yours can inspire others to join us. What’s your team’s story? Update your personal or team fundraising page and tell us who inspires you to walk, run, fundraise, or participate.
