On this special day, we honor the birth of our Blessed Mother Mary, a symbol of pure love and endless grace. May her example of faith and devotion inspire us to live with kindness and compassion in our hearts. 💖

This past Sunday, we celebrated Divine Mercy Sunday, which is also the Second Sunday of Easter. The Gospel reading was about Jesus appearing to his disciples after his death. However, Thomas was not present when Jesus first appeared, so he did not believe the other disciples when they told him that they had seen the Lord.

Many of us have a similar mindset to that of Thomas, who refused to believe without seeing proof. Thomas wanted to physically see and touch Jesus' wounds to confirm that Christ's suffering was also present in his own suffering. Jesus made the choice to suffer for us out of his immense love so that we never have to suffer alone. God desires us to open up to Him about our sufferings, pains, and wounds so that He can pour out His merciful healing into us.

When all is quiet and darkness seems to have overtaken the light, the Blessed Mother never lost hope that Jesus would rise.

This Black Saturday, let us remain steadfast in faith that the promises of Jesus would be fulfilled.

If the Lord is with Mary, then Mary is with the Lord.

As we hear mass this Holy Thursday, let's ask Mama Mary to prepare our hearts and receive Jesus so we can be the saints He has always called us to be.

WEEK 6: One of the ways we can discern whether or not our prayer, fasting, and almsgiving have bore fruit is to see how we are living our lives. Have the sacrifices we have undertaken this Lent led us to be more loving, forgiving, and generous?

This Palm Sunday, let's ask for the grace of vocation to love.
