Asclepes Research Centers is a private research group located on the Mission Community Hospital campus in Panorama City, California; in Long Beach California as Alliance Research and in Weeki Wachee, Florida. The offices/units are staffed by a dedicated and highly trained teams, which include board-certified physicians in Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology and other specialties.
The Asclepes Research Team works cohesively together to help individuals suffering from Central Nervous System (CNS) conditions such as the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and other internal medicine conditions. We strive to educate the community and be an additional resource for information on CNS, mental disorders and internal medicine concerns. People who take part in clinical research are contributing towards the care, treatment and wellbeing of countless numbers of people who have a variety of medical conditions, as well as others who may develop them at some time in the future. Participation in clinical trials may lead to results that make a difference in the care of future patients such as the discovery of new treatments that could become a new standard of care. Our clinical trials (inpatient and outpatient) are monitored closely by the Institutional Review Board, an independent group comprised of physicians, researchers and community members to assure that the welfare of participants are protected. There is no cost to participate in a clinical trial and volunteers may be compensated for time and travel. Each clinical trial has specific eligibility criteria that allow some individuals to participate. The eligibility criteria are called “Inclusion and Exclusion” criteria, designed by a research plan known as the protocol to safeguard the health of all participates involved in a study.
