🥕Organic gardening 🌱Community connection 🌽Local sustainability 🌿Grow with us in Westchester. CAN YOU HELP US?
1) Get the word out.

The garden offers seating areas for conversation and contemplation, a butterfly garden for meditation and relaxation, and paths. Mulch and compost are available for gardeners as well as local residents. We have established a unique and very special Community Garden on school grounds. The Garden serves the school children as a learning space, and a bridge to the community. A co-habited, co-operative space where food is grown and shared by folks of diverse ages, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds...

We are very proud of this work!. We commit to gardening with organic best practices in mind; we are proud we are able to make our garden accessible to people of all abilities (thanks for the help of the Westchester Rotary); We commit to making this garden a place where one can come, enjoy, learn, share. We are looking for partners, both local and universal. Our greatest resource is us.

2) If you are local, come help us do what we are doing - building a garden. Can you think of things much more satisfying than creating a garden that will be used by THOUSANDS?!

3) Share your knowledge. Hook us up with funders, tell us what we don't know about bringing in the funding, and partners we need.

4) Donate. Money is great, but we will take your sweat! Contact: [email protected] to find out how to donate money, or keep an eye on this page to see when you can give up your sweat!

We are so excited to be partnering with Sprouts Farmers Market again this year to provide seed growing classes for local families and other community members! That's our president Tracy Thrower Conyers holding the plaque with our activities director Terrie Roane Johnson on her right, surrounded by Sprouts team members from the Redondo Beach store.

Watch our calendar for more information about our classes - eacgc.org/calendar.

You bet our photo sign is going to be at the WAM Block Party again this year! Find our booth just outside the Garden's gate. This is member Heather Lemmon rocking the sign circa 2016. The sign was designed and brought to life by Karen Sochar, a celebrated ceramic sculptor and educator who has enriched the Westchester art scene for over three decades.
