‼️ Emergency intake! This sweet girl was dropped off at our vet 5pm last night. She is in extreme pain and discomfort because her skin is a mess. This is 100% preventable when treated early. Demodex is completely treatable with flea medication so there is no excuses letting a dog suffer like this. Pictures dont even tell the story of how bad this is.

We are calling her Fenella Mariposa because we know she will transform into the most beautiful girl. It just hurts our hearts seeing dogs in conditions like this, afraid and in pain. Vet bills are rising, more dogs need saving with severe costly medical, rescue is suffering and trying to keep up. We know it can he overwhelming seeing all the medical we need your support with but its our reality right now. We have two major skin cases this week, Billie with her severe ear disease and an english with entropion and in need of his rope shortened. This list goes on and it has no end in sight. It feels like the pleas in our dms, in our surrender line and at the shelters just double each week. We cannot give up or turn on these cases. We need to stick together, be a collective voice and fight for these animals. On the other side of this stress and fight are beautiful transformations and happy endings. This mission matters. We saw this little chubby chibby chop face and had to make him a Roadog! We don’t know why people adopt or breed these heavily wrinkled dogs to then just completely neglect the care. These “special” looking dogs that greeders charge thousands for usually have LOTS of medical!

The wrinkles are prone to infection and can be difficult to keep clean. They can have skin issues, be more prone to gut issues need things like rope removal, boas, entropian etc. The list is endless and we end up taking these dogs and footing the bill. It always amazes us how many people will spend thousands buying these dogs but then when medical arises want to spend nothing actually caring for them or fixing the health issues that are bound to show up.

Regardless, we are so happy the shelter reached out when they saw this guy so we can relieve his poor itchy skin and get him feeling better. Welcome to Roadogs Ozric Quiggleston!

WE NEED A MIRACLE!! BILLIE BELLSPRINKLE NEEDS YOUR HELP! 💔

Billie has been neglected for far too long. Her ears are a mess, and it’s heartbreaking that ignoring her ears got her this far into disease.

We are seeing more and more dogs come to us with severe, chronic ear disease like this. These cases are incredibly difficult to treat, and the surgeries can cost thousands of dollars. Billie’s estimate is $9,000.

That is a massive bill for a rescue, and honestly, it makes it harder for us to be able to say yes when another dog like Billie needs us. We want to keep taking the cases that need us most…we want to say yes to the dogs who have been neglected, overlooked and left to suffer but surgeries like this quickly add up and we simply cannot afford it. Not without help and support for these bigger cases💔

Billie has already waited long enough. She deserves to have her pain addressed and to finally know what it feels like to be comfortable. Please help us get Billie the surgery she desperately needs. Sweet ol’ Abigail SageWillow still has no forever home! 💔 She sat in a shelter for two weeks. Nobody came for her so we grabbed her. Now that she’s safe with us, her little dodgy teeth have been taken care of, and she’s feeling so much better… but still, nobody is applying for her. We know Ol’codges aren’t for everyone but they are some of the most rewarding and special adoptions!

Abigail is an easy girl. She is nearly 12 years old but but likes short walks, long naps and following her people around (even if she can’t always hear what they’re saying). She’s not looking for much. She just wants someone to sit with, a soft place to sleep and a person who will love her for all the years she has left. Maybe her person is a senior, too. ❤️

Our Senior for Senior program waives the adoption fee when a senior adopts a senior Roadog. Because sometimes the best match is two old souls who just want a little companionship.

And if you can’t adopt, Abigail is also looking for a foster home! (Please dm if interested).

Please don’t let this sweet old doxie spend her golden years waiting for someone to notice her. She has waited long enough and has a special soul that deserves to be loved and desired for however long she has. She has so much she wants to give in return.

🏴‍☠️ AHOY, MATEYS! CAPTAIN STORMY IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER CREW! 🏴‍☠️

This handsome 4 yr old frenchie has sailed through some seriously rough waters, but these days Captain Stormy is all about adventures, car rides, long walks and stealing the biggest dog in the house as his personal bed 😋

He’s got one very cool green eye, enough personality to fill a pirate ship and approximately zero interest in a boring life on shore. Captain Stormy is looking for an experienced first mate who understands that crates and confinement are a hard NO (he just wants to be free!) but adventure, freedom, cuddles and a good couch? ARRR, now we’re talking. 🏴‍☠️

He’d love an active home that’s up for walks, camping, road trips and plenty of playtime. After he’s burned off his energy, he’s perfectly happy to become a snuggle bug and curl up beside his person. He’s good with kids and people, selective with other dogs, and cats are absolutely not invited aboard. Potty training is still a work in progress, but this captain is learning.

Jinkies! We’ve got a mystery litter on our hands! Four mystery puppies…One very beautiful mum but we have no clue what these guys are! 😂

Meet the cutest Mystery Gang you’ll ever see! These little weirdos who may not come with a DNA report (results pending), but they DO come with excellent temperaments, giant personalities and adorable puppy breath!

They’re all so different from each other, which makes this crew even more fun. We have the silly one, the snuggly one, the adventurous one and the one who is already clearly running the operation. We’ll let you decide which is which.

Their mum, Sunday is a gorgeous Frenchie and will be looking for her forever family soon, too. We want to give her some alone time before we figure out what kind of home she would do best in.
