Pilipinos In Engineering and Science UCLA's Premiere Pilipino Engineering and Applied Science club but open to anyone who comes to our meetings on Wednesdays 6-8pm!

Pilipinos In Engineering was created in 1993 to address the concerns of Pilipino STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) students here at UCLA. Although we feel that special attention must be placed on Pilipino STEM students, we extend membership to anyone, regardless of ethnicity or major. Present resources are not adequate enough to support Pilipino STEM students, ethnically or aca

demically. Considered too few by current Pilipino groups that offer assistance to Letters & Science students and considered too many by current Engineering groups that offer assistance to minority students, Pilipino engineers are left to fend for themselves in the individualistic, highly competitive environment at the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science. In order to better include students from all STEM fields, the name was formally changed in 2016 to Pilipinos In Engineering and Science.
