🇺🇸 Honoring Our Past. Serving Our Communities. 🇺🇸
As we celebrate America’s 250th milestone, the Daughters of the American Revolution are putting patriotism into action! We are about to complete the DAR Month of Service, which ran from September 11 through October 11.
DAR chapters and members across the nation came together to give back through meaningful volunteer projects. From supporting our veterans and first responders to preserving local history and beautifying our communities, our mission is to make a lasting impact. 🌳

Save the Date: October BOOK CLUB is Wednesday 10/21!

Our Daughters of the American Revolution - California State Society BOOK CLUB selection for October is THE FORT by Bernard Cornwell. https://www.bernardcornwell.net/books/the-fort/

Note: There are multiple books with the same name by different authors, please make sure to get the one about a Revolutionary War battle! It is an historical novel about the Penobscot Expedition of 1779, which took place over the course of several weeks in present-day Maine.

For CSSDAR members, the October meeting of the CSSDAR Book Club will be held on Wednesday, October 21, at 10 am and at 7 pm for the Zoom discussion.

Hello from today's District IX meeting & luncheon, generously hosted by the Rancho Chapter in Mar Vista, CA. Besides an update on all the great CSSDAR and District projects that are underway for us to participate in, we were treated to a program about Roger Williams, the Architect of the Separation of Church and State, by speaker Vickie Fisher of the Antelope Valley Chapter, who also happens to be a 9th generation granddaughter of Williams himself. It's always extra special to hear history as shared by a direct descendant. Thank you, Vickie, Linda and Rancho Daughters!
