During this holiday season, Help Children of Ukraine Foundation would like to thank each and everyone who donated their toys, clothes, shoes and other things so we could send them to the children in need in Ukraine. We appreciate all the donations, small and big, because each of them are certain to make at least one child a little happier during this festive time. Thank you all for your continued support and may the joys of the season shed light, hope and fill your hearts with peace and love!

Dear friends,

We would like to thank everyone from all over the world for your tremendous help in 2016! Every person who volunteered with us, donated or helped in any way have made a big difference in the lives of the sick children in Ukraine. Your support motivates us to work harder and grow bigger. These letters, written by the kids present at our recent fundraiser "Have Fun and Save Lives" (Dec. 2), were sent to the children with cancer from the hospitals in Kyiv, Zhytomir and Odesa. Along with the presents from St. Nicholas, these letters will reinforce children's faith and hope in their recovery and let them know that someone on the other side of the planet thinks about them, worries and wishes them strength and healing. Maybe for some, this support will be a crucial drop in the force that outweighs the scales called life...

Volunteers are special people who are contributing their time and efforts to assist others. They realize the power of giving without expecting anything in return. We believe that each one of you has the responsibility to contribute either big or small to make the world a better place.

At our party you will meet your favorite characters Elza, Anna and Rapunzel! The program of the event include: party characters, face-painting, performance of the Kids Acting Workshop students (4 -10 years old), Ridna Shkola, Stellardance Studio with jazz dance, dance masterclass, Em Cirque show, Kuteur Dance show, Golden Dragon school with martial arts masterclass, arts and crafts, Auction items by LeoGift Handmade online store and other supporters, décor of the studio by Ellegant Balloons, kids disco, and a live performance of the band Vinyl Soul!!!

We created this charity event to bring to the kids with cancer, currently in the hospitals in Ukraine, some fun and joy during the coming holiday season. We simply cannot ignore the fact that there are so many children whose feelings cannot be full and joyful during this time of the year, as they must face the cruel reality of a life with cancer.

Our team of 9 volunteers (Ganna Semenova, Andrey Kalugin, Mariana Boyko, Bogach Elena, Oksana Zodorozhnaya, Yaroslava Mekh, Janetta Bezrukova, Mariam Shelkova) along with the co-founders of the HCU Foundation, who are not indifferent to this problem have organized this project to bring awareness to such problem as the kids with cancer. The goal of our project is that on the Day of St. Nicholas (Father Christmas), we will give 3 movie projectors to the children oncology hospitals. As our project grow, we plan to include more hospitals from other cities in the nearest future.

The kids will watch their favorite cartoons together. After that the princesses will visit them and bring along many treats, toys, games and a feast.

Disney Company has graciously provided us with a license to use their copyrighted characters, loved by all children, to prepare the gifts for the poor ones.
