9/11/01 is a day we remember the Americans who tragically lost their lives. 25 years later, we believe this story deserves to be remembered.
These photographs have been part of the history of Candelas Guitars for decades. We’re sharing them today to remember the people whose lives were changed, the families who were left behind, and a community that came together to help those who needed it.The Unity Guitar was created from that spirit of solidarity. Tomas and his crew handcrafted the guitar while prominent figures from across the music and entertainment community added their signatures to help raise funds for the families of the undocumented victims of 9/11.
When the original organizer unexpectedly stepped away, leaving the event without a way forward, Tomas knew the cause was too important to let the vision end. Tomas gathered vendors, musicians, sponsors, and community members alike to carry out this World-class event to help those who may have gotten overlooked.
Today, we remember those affected by 9/11, as well as the power of a community coming together when it matters most.
We remember.
We honor.
We stand together.
