In Indonesia, 63% of men smoke, making it the highest rate in the world.
Because of this, Head and Neck Cancer (HNC) has become the #1 cancer for men in the country.

But here is the “Knowledge Gap”:
✅ 82% of people know smoking is a risk.
⚠️ Only 37% think it could happen to them.

Most people don’t know the signs to look for, like a lump in the neck, a persistent sore throat, or difficulty swallowing.

Why does awareness matter?
Survival rate with early detection: 90%
Survival rate at advanced stages:

Let’s talk Vaccine Hesitancy & Refusal!

The aim of this study was to understand the factors associated with vaccine hesitancy and refusal in Indonesia using the Social-Ecological Model (SEM).

Cultural factors play a significant role in vaccine hesitancy and refusal. The SEM can be used to propose multi-level interventions with collaboration and communication among stakeholders to improve community health.
