RBD Communications/Recycling Black Dollars (RBD) is a 501 (c)3 Non Profit Corporation founded in 1988 by the late Muhammad A. RBD's mission is to aid in the economic development of the African American community by encouraging support of Black businesses. RBD is a membership organization that collaborates with other non-profit organizations, churches and Fortune 500 corporations in an an effort to

encourage vending and contract opportunities. We work with banks and other funding organizations to offer and provide capital for the development and expansion of the African American business community. RBD is also committed to providing ongoing business development and financial planning workshops and seminars for our entrepreneurial and small business owners for adults and young adults. Our membership offers monthly networking meetings, training and assistance with business plans, marketing and promotional support, the RBD Black Business Resource Guide, a monthly e-newsletter, internet marketing/promotion, website links to our website and mentoring programs for aspiring entrepreneurs.
