Happy International Love and Gratitude Day! We are all water. Dr. Masaru Emoto recited this powerful prayer of Ho'oponopono to Water in ceremonies around the globe. Here is a fun video to teach kids this ancient prayer of Love, Forgiveness and Gratitude to Water.

Plant a Tree for Earth Day! Trees are vitally important to the existence of all life on Earth. Trees take in carbon dioxide and give off oxygen that sustains us to breathe. Trees reduce the amount of storm water runoff, which reduces erosion and pollution in our waterways and the effects of flooding. Trees provide shade and keep our planet cool. Trees provide varieties of food orange, apple, cherries, avocado, lemon, lime, cashew, date, and more. Many species of wildlife depend on trees for habitat. Trees provide food, protection, and homes for many birds and mammals. Another great reason? Trees are beautiful!

Happy World Oceans Day! Celebrate by inviting kids to watch the animated film "All The Way to the Ocean" by Joel Harper

Based on the award-winning picture book with the same title, All The Way to the Ocean is an uplifting story about two best friends, Isaac and James and their discovery of the cause and effect relationship between our cities' storm drains and the world's oceans, lakes and rivers. In the story, James throws a wrapper and plastic bottle in the gutter and doesn't believe that it will go all the way to the ocean. His friend Isaac warns James about the consequences of his littering. There begin the adventures of James and Isaac as they learn about the harmful effects of storm drain pollution, and in turn, spread the word to their friends and the rest of their school.
