Palisades Village Green

From September 9 until September 14, the American Legion Auxiliary will place a memorial display of American flags on the Palisades Village Green in remembrance of September 11, 2001.

The display honors the innocent lives lost and the first responders who showed extraordinary courage.

We are grateful to the American Legion Auxiliary for giving our community a place to pause, reflect and remember 🇺🇸

The Westside Jazz Ensemble filled the Palisades Village Green with live music today, just as Palisades Village across Sunset was celebrating its reopening.

With music on the Green and people out walking, shopping and gathering across town, the Palisades was especially alive today and bustling with people.

Thank you to the Westside Jazz Ensemble for spending the day with us, and to everyone who stopped by to listen 🎷

Free jazz at the Palisades Village Green 🎷

The Westside Jazz Ensemble returns to the Palisades Village Green on Saturday, August 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a free community concert.

These musicians have a long history in the Palisades, with members who once played at Mort’s and in the July 4th Um Pa Pa Band. They’ve also joined us at the Green over the years, including for our 50th anniversary celebration.

Bring a chair, find a shady spot and enjoy some live jazz in the heart of the Palisades. Free and open to everyone.

🧡 It’s National Start Seeing Monarchs Day, and these butterflies need us more than ever. Their migration depends on small, everyday choices we make in our own yards and neighborhoods.

Plant *native* milkweed. Skip the pesticides. Leave a little wild.

Pro tip: if you live along the coast like we do in Pacific Palisades, cut your milkweed back in winter to support healthy coastal migration.

It helps break the cycle of year-round breeding and disease, so monarchs can keep moving the way they’re supposed to.
