A heartbreaking update in the search for Alisa Goods. The New York grandmother who had been missing for nearly two weeks while visiting a longtime friend in Las Vegas has sadly been found deceased.

Goods’ body was reportedly discovered early Thursday near Terminal 1 at Harry Reid International Airport.

Investigators located surveillance footage from August 8, the same day she disappeared, showing a woman believed to be Goods near the airport that afternoon.

At this time, it remains unclear how she ended up at the airport or what led to her death. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding her passing.

Our deepest condolences go out to Alisa Goods’ family, friends, and everyone who prayed, shared her story, and hoped for her safe return.

Please keep her family uplifted during this incredibly difficult time. 🕊️🙏🏽

At Humanistic Foundation, experiential therapy gives youth the opportunity to learn, grow, and discover through real-life experiences. From trying new things and exploring new environments to building practical skills and discovering new interests, every experience can become an opportunity for growth. ✍🏽

For many of the boys we serve, experiences that others may take for granted, such as trying new foods, playing a new sport, visiting a new place, or simply doing something for the very first time, haven’t always been accessible.

That’s why we’re intentional about creating meaningful opportunities that expand their world, build confidence, spark curiosity, and expose them to new passions and possibilities. Sometimes one new experience can introduce a young person to a passion, skill, or pathway they never knew existed.

At Humanistic Foundation, we’re not just creating experiences, we’re helping young people discover what’s possible. 💜
