After more than a month and a half of effort, perseverance, and countless hours of coordination, we can finally say: Mission Accomplished! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ช

Following the June 24 earthquake in Venezuela and its numerous aftershocks, our volunteer on the ground faced relocation, transportation challenges, and many unexpected obstacles. But she never gave up. โค๏ธ

Through the dedication of our volunteers, donors, and partners, assistance successfully made its way from ๐•๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ข๐š โ†’ ๐‚๐š๐ซ๐š๐œ๐š๐ฌ โ†’ ๐‹๐š ๐†๐ฎ๐š๐ข๐ซ๐š, where Fundaciรณn Don Orione received the donations and took responsibility for distributing them to families in need.

โœจ Together, we delivered:

We had our best turnout yet at this monthโ€™s food giveaway! With beautiful weather and an amazing community turnout, we were able to serve 62 families โ€” 198 people in total! ๐Ÿ™Œโค๏ธ

Thanks to our local farm, partner farms and food pantries, and local grocery stores, we were able to provide 1,140 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables, including:

It was a truly special and deeply meaningful occasion for the ACT Foundation USA Cincinnati, Ohio team. On the sacred occasion of Guru Purnima, we had the opportunity to visit Foreverland Farm Rescued Animal (Vegan) Sanctuary in Mt. Orab, Ohio, and offer our humble seva to the beautiful animals who have found refuge, safety, and care there. ๐Ÿ™โœจ

Together, our wonderful volunteers donated an incredible 1,170 pounds (530 kg) of food for the rescued animals. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿพ

๐ŸŒพ Our donations included:
โ€ข Whole corn grains
โ€ข Pig feed pellets
โ€ข Hay for guinea pigs
โ€ข Supplemental cattle feed
โ€ข Goat feed pellets
โ€ข Alfalfa hay for horses

We also brought feeding bowls, horse stable fly sprays, and fly-repellent ointments to support the ongoing care and well-being of the rescued animals. ๐Ÿด๐Ÿ’š

As we entered the farm, we were reminded that every being there had experienced pain, yet had found refuge in love and compassion. Their stories may be different from ours, but their need for kindness, care, and love is universal. ๐Ÿพโค๏ธ

There were moments when an animal looked directly at usโ€”not with fear, but with a quiet sense of recognition. Those moments touched our hearts deeply and reminded us of Mohanjiโ€™s beautiful words:

โ€œIn a world where insensitivity and selfishness rule, every act of kindness counts a lot. All we need is love, kindness, and compassion.โ€ ๐Ÿ’š

This seva was not simply about donating food. It was about sharing love, serving selflessly, and recognizing the value of every living being. ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, ACT Foundation USA volunteers in Michigan lovingly served 75 vegan meals to the houseless community in Kalamazoo, Michigan. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ™

The roots of kindness, community, and environmental stewardship continue to grow.

ACT Foundation USA is honored to be part of the ๐‹๐ž๐š๐Ÿ-๐€-๐‹๐ž๐ ๐š๐œ๐ฒ ๐œ๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐ข๐ ๐ง through the Portage Parks Foundation, supporting the restoration and renewal of Portageโ€™s treasured green spaces.

Following the tornado that impacted Portage and damaged thousands of trees across the community, including areas around the Celery Flats Historical Area and the Portage Creek Bicentennial Park Trail, our Michigan team joined hands with the community to help restore the landscape.

Through this effort, ACT Foundation USA planted 36 native trees โ€” including Serviceberry, Honey Locust, Redbud, and American Hornbeam โ€” creating a lasting gift for wildlife, the environment, and future generations.

We are deeply grateful to be recognized as a Visionary Donor, with ACT Foundation USA permanently honored on the Leaf-A-Legacy bronze donor plaque unveiled on May 7, 2026.

This recognition belongs to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who believes that caring for our planet is an act of compassion and that small acts of service can create a lasting impact.
