The Cycle of Empowerment

Multi-Dimensional Success

YBA's mission is to help students discover their dreams and embrace their brilliance through real-world business experiences that build confidence, career opportunities and life-changing skills. We want all students to know that they are capable of achieving big dreams and have the tools to make career success a reality.

YBA AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer Coordinator Beata visited Alain LeRoy Locke Charter High School, a Green Dot Public Schools, to introduce students to YBA and our programs! Students participated in fun icebreakers and completed a pre-survey to help us track their growth in work-readiness skills throughout the school year.

Thank you to Oscar, Mr. Brown, and Nate for making this partnership possible. We’re excited for a great school year together!

Thank you to Linda Maldonado, Assistant Vice President, Community Outreach Officer at CTBC Bank USA, for speaking with our YBA tax literacy students New Designs Charter Schools about professional etiquette and why it matters!

We appreciate her taking the time to share her insights and help our students build skills for their future careers.

YBA is expanding our community board! 💙💛💚

We're thrilled to welcome Dr. Chabela McFashion to our community board! Dr. Chabela is a Doctor of Business Administration, entrepreneur, and forensic accountant, bringing incredible expertise and a sharp eye for building strong financial and educational foundations.

As the founder of The B Venture, Dr. Chabela has already been making an impact on our students, offering hands-on internships that teach them the real ins and outs of running a business. Her commitment to real-world learning is exactly the kind of leadership that helps our youth make strides towards their goals.

We can't wait to see the impact she'll continue to make. Welcome, Dr. Chabela!
