Sturtevant, C.W. Bonynge, V.L. Andrews and George D. Maner. The first meeting was held at the Los Angeles County Hospital on February 9, 1929. The Society, since its inception, has grown steadi
ly and now numbers some 350 members. The society offers monthly scientific programs held on the first Tuesday of every month. These include an hour preprogram reception with wine and appetizers at 5:30pm, and 90 minute scientific program starting at 6:30pm. The scientific program includes lectures from nationally and internationally renowned pathologists, slide seminars put on by all major academic centers in the Los Angeles area, and an annual December buffet and George Kypridakis esteemed lectureship. An annual day-long meeting is put on every January in a topic selected by the board and society members. Meetings take place in the Moseley Salvatori Conference center adjacent to the Good Samaritan Hospital. CMEs credits available for attendance.
