Black Women for Wellness is committed to healing, educating, inspiring, and supporting Black women, so we may tap our personal power to enhance and improve our health and well being. We began as a group of women concerned about the health and well-being of our babies.As grandmothers, mothers, aunties, daughters, and sisterfriends, we found we had no choice but to take on the plethora of health iss

BWW’s [M] Factor Screening: Perimenopause & Menopause Conversations for Black Women was a powerful afternoon of education, healing, and connection.

Our community gathered at Art Share LA to explore the realities of perimenopause, menopause, and midlife wellness through a screening of The M Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause and an engaging conversation with health experts and community leaders. Together, we created space for truth-telling, shared experiences, and discussions about the importance of culturally competent care for Black women at every stage of life.

Join Black Women for Wellness’ for Fierce Aunties After Dark, an intimate evening of honest conversation, connection, and s*xual wellness.

As we age, our relationships with our bodies, desire, intimacy, and pleasure evolve. Yet so many women are never given the space to talk openly about what that journey actually looks like. From shifting desire and changing hormones to navigating s*xuality during perimenopause and menopause, many of us are left to figure it out on our own.

Fierce Aunties After Dark creates a welcoming, judgment-free space to explore the conversations we deserve to have. Together, we’ll discuss:
- Reclaiming desire, pleasure, and intimacy
- Pelvic floor health and its impact on s*xual wellness
- Sexuality during perimenopause and menopause
- Common stigmas around aging and s*x
- Communication, relationships, and connection
-How to seek support and resources when needed

Together, we explored the intersections of love, reproductive justice, infertility, and motherhood through a powerful live reading of Ama Anane’s heartfelt romantic comedy. The conversation that followed created space for honest dialogue about the realities many Black women and LGBTQ+ families face while navigating family-building and healthcare systems.

Keith has trained NBA, NFL, MMA, and professional boxing athletes, and he’ll be leading a special wellness experience focused on movement, health, and showing up as our best selves.
