‘Noura’ never stopped playing.
Even when her own family tried to stop her, when words turned into blows, she kept running after the ball — after her dream.

Then the Taliban returned, and with them came silence. Women’s sports were erased overnight. Athletes who once represented freedom are now hunted, silenced, and forced to hide.

But they haven’t disappeared.
In a haunting act of defiance, Afghan women stood for a photo — covered in burqas, holding the tools of their banned sports. Their message was clear: you can strip us of the game, but never of our spirit

"Why are women not good with numbers?"
They are — and always have been.

Yet in STEM careers (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), women are still underrepresented, especially in leadership roles. Not because they lack talent — but because they face deep-rooted biases and stereotypes that start as early as childhood.

From the classroom to the boardroom, girls are often told — directly or indirectly — that numbers aren’t for them. It’s time to rewrite that story.

We need to change the culture, amplify strong role models, and empower young girls to pursue and thrive in STEM — because talent has no gender. 💪✨
