The trucks were loud, the energy was louder. 🚒🔥

The sirens were on, the energy was electric, and the smiles were non stop. Our May firefighter themed birthday celebration brought together some of the most incredible families and we could not be more grateful.

So many of the families we serve feel invisible. Living in a shelter, navigating homelessness, trying to hold it all together for their kids. The world does not always stop to acknowledge them.

We set up a canvas, hand them a marker, and ask them to draw themselves. Because they deserve to take up space. They deserve to be recognized. They deserve to know that someone sees them and thinks they are worth celebrating.

From painting and crafts to kinetic sand and seashells, we love watching children lose themselves in something creative and joyful. These moments of pure play matter so much, especially for families navigating the hardest seasons of their lives.

Our volunteers show up every single time. They serve the pizza, hand out the hot dogs, set up the shirts, cut the cake, and make sure every family feels welcomed and celebrated.
They do it with their whole hearts, every time.

Meet Ector, the creative mind behind our Petersen party shirts.

When we asked kids to dream big, Ector picked up a pencil and drew something truly special. Seeing his design come to life on a shirt and on the big screen at the Petersen Automotive Museum was a moment we will never forget.

Full speed ahead and hearts wide open 🚙 💜

This April, four shelters from across Los Angeles came together at the incredible for a birthday celebration that none of us will ever forget. The kids explored the most amazing cars, danced like nobody was watching, and laughed until their cheeks hurt. Watching these families celebrate together was worth every single moment

None of this happens without people who believe in this mission. Thank you to for bringing this party to life, and to and for making sure every child went home with something special.
