His unmatched ambition, intelligence, and zest for life will forever be remembered. This Scholarship Foundation wishes to impact the lives of students by:

-Awarding scholarships provided by generous donors
-Advising students and their families on how to save for and afford college
-Reaching out to encourage students who are underserved or overlooked

These three efforts are essential in the both the success of the student as well as the legacy of Kyle F.

Wow! That was a great Steelers vs. Patriots game today!! Doc would have loved it!! Here's an email he sent out to us in 2007 regarding a Steelers/Patriots game!

Ladies and Gentlemen

The TIME is NOW. No more excuses and the TIME has come to put a HAT on the football. 2 Great organizations and on any other week I would be cheering along side the PATs fans but this week you will have to settle for us being on opposing sides, enemies if you will. In the words of Bo Jackson {"If you're my enemy," he says, "and you're by the side of the road with a flat tire, and it's 20 below zero, I'm going to stop and throw a gallon of water on you and keep going."} We have exactly 6 days to prepare for this collision. So 1st we need to decide on a location with everyones by in...Then we need to invite all our peeps. Then we need to place a friendly wager on the contest, something like washing each cars or something like that, maybe even a glass of cold as ice water to the losers....So My Place or a Sport Bar? Either way it will be a collective effort.

This is intended to be a fun time and lots of cheering and excitement...

So let's see here:
I am going to bake a Pie, I wonder what kind....hmmmmmm : )

Although time flies, there's not a day that passes that I'm not reminded of Doc. Quickr Story: There's this guy who passes me everyday at the crosswalk after I get off the subway. I never see him on the subway, never at union station...but he always manages to walk pass me at the same place every morning. Funny thing is...from behind, he favors Kyle alot! Every single morning...when he walks past, i smile and laugh... thinking about Doc for the next 3 blocks...because for one split second...it feels like he's right there beside me. He's missed. Lahna

It has been a year since our friend transcended this earth. I'm so happy that we are still thinking of him and honoring his life. Thanks to Chris John for the consistent kind words and thoughts that you share with us! Love ya!
