Welcome to my fitness page! LuzyLuvnFitness is my nickname for this page because my name is Luz and it means light. Faith, peace, joy, purpose, and love.

Fitness 4 your Mind, Body & Soul | Deep things most don't talk about, cause lets face it, until we are ready to heal, we can't fulfill our purpose and the reason we are here. I love shining a light to things I am learning and my hope is to pass on that inspiration to you all. Luv, is all about loving our creator, life, ourselves and the people that come accross our path daily. Lastly, Fitness is not only about health, wellness, and nutrition for me, but itis fitness for the mind, body and soul. I post a lot about matters of the heart and internal struggles that we all face from time to time. I speak about overcoming adversity, and how our thoughts can affect our behaviour. I believe mind and body are connected on many levels and that we must first take care of, acknowledge and address the internal, before we can see real progress and permanent change on the exterior. I believe that everything we need, has already been given to us. It's up to us to tap into and draw it out. Once I discovered how to do this, even in the midst of pain, or times of struggle; my heart is always open to share it with others for the sole purpose of encouragement and hope. I believe its why I am here today, and something I am extremely passionate about. I love communicating with humor, love, grace, and real talk that cuts through the surfacey BS. Thank you for "LIKING" my page and sharing any posts that speak to you. If someone ever crosses your mind when you read a post, please share it to your page, so that maybe " that " person is encouraged. Thank you

Fine. Then I’ll find another way.

I’m not interested in letting a diagnosis dictate what my body is allowed to do.

I’m interested in learning my body, respecting its limits, and getting stronger within them.

Modify the movement.

Change the angle.

Find the version that works.

The goal isn’t to prove you can do it the normal way.

The goal is to prove you’re not done.

Faith always leads me to find a way.

And I’m still finding my way….

The world keeps selling women the idea that youth comes in a bottle.

I don’t buy it.

I believe youth is built—one walk, one push-up, one stretch, one choice at a time.

Every time you move your body, you’re sending it a message:

I’m still choosing me.

I AM 58 , I’m NOT trying to be 28 again.

I want to empower women that strength, energy, confidence, and vitality don’t expire.

Your body isn’t asking you to be perfect.

It’s asking you to MOVE.

So move… because the strongest version of you is still waiting… let’s lean into that s**+ mami🤍

I always get asked by women about my arms and back … and what they can do to combat that fluffiness .

These are my top two go to’s besides a decent or clean diet.

Do 15 reps of moderate weight 3-4 sets and alternate.

Focus on squeezing on the pulldown of each.

For years, I lived with chronic back pain and even came close to having surgery.

What changed my life wasn’t an intense workout —it was learning to move again.

Simple stretches, core strengthening, mobility work, and consistency became the foundation for a stronger body.

Today, movements like these help me stay active, build strength, and do the things I love without pain.

Everyone’s situation is different, But for me, slow and intentional movement was a game changer.

Sometimes healing doesn’t start with doing more—it starts withe working with your body ; and not against it.

Have you ever struggled with back pain?

What helped you the most?

The moment we treat life as a gift, a whole new world opens up.

Every breath is a gift.
When we recognize the blessing of simply being here in and out of life’s seasons —we begin to see life through a different lens.

We notice things most don’t, appreciate more, love deeper, and worry less.

Gratitude changes everything, and a whole new world opens up when we embrace each day with a thankful heart. 🙏✨

What’s one thing you’re grateful for today?

The most powerful women in the room aren’t there to judge, or compete.

The most powerful I know collaborate, celebrate and challenge you to keep growing.

She reminds you , you belong there too.
