Welcome to the OFFICIAL page of the Los Feliz Village Business Improvement District. The "BID" is dedicated to improving & promoting business in the area of Los Angeles known as Los Feliz Village. The Village is an inviting & charming community nestled below the East Hollywood Hills. It is rich with culture, traditions, art, historic landmarks, hip new business & many attractions. Long known for its fiercely independent and creative spirit, Los Feliz Village encompasses a diverse selection of businesses - from warmly familiar restaurants and services which have been steady L.A. Basin favorites for over 50 years, to cutting edge designers and hip "retro" clothing, vintage and collectibles shops. The Los Feliz district is a unique neighborhood tucked between two of the most important Los Angeles parks - Griffith Park to the north, and Barnsdall Art Park to the south. Visit over 250 merchants - "The Village" runs parallel to Vermont Ave to the west, and Hillhurst Ave to the east. The Village includes portions of Hollywood Blvd, Los Feliz Blvd and Sunset Drive as well as many adjacent streets between the two main thoroughfares of Hillhurst and Vermont. MEETING TIMES:

This quarter we’re celebrating Art & Culture in Los Feliz and our first highlight is Skylight Theatre! This 99 seat theater is pure magic!! With a commitment to local artists, Skylight Theatre envisions a future where storytellers from a diverse background have access to the opportunities and support they need to produce plays and grow within a state-of-the-art theater for an engaged audience representative of Los Angeles.

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Dave Goodman, a cherished member of the Los Feliz community and a steadfast advocate for local businesses. As the owner of Goodman’s (formerly Box Brothers), Dave built a lasting legacy in Los Feliz, offering exceptional service for over 30 years. His unwavering dedication to the neighborhood and its people left a profound impact on all who knew him.

Dave’s leadership extended beyond his business and he served as Treasurer on the Los Feliz Village BID Board as recently as 2018, always working to improve the community he loved.

His passion for Los Feliz and its residents will live on, and his presence will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to cross his path. Rest in peace, Dave. You will forever be remembered.
