We are simply heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Clare Imholtz. Clare was a stalwart of our society for decades. To quote Lucinda Claymore, "Clare was our factotum! She could do anything. She did everything! Officer, speaker, scholar, author." Our hearts are with Clare's husband August and family. We will miss our beautiful friend.

We were so saddened to learn of the death of brilliant Carrollian and longtime LCSNA member and friend Byron Sewell! A tremendous loss to our community, but his 100+ parodies (!) and generous spirit will endure. As his obituary so eloquently states: "Byron’s legacy will live on through his family, friends, and all who were touched by his kindness, intellect, artistry, and faith.
