Helping people with spinal cord injury, neurologic disorders and other mobility impairments through community building, the arts, wellness recreation and social support. Pushrim Foundation provides individuals with spinal cord injuries/mobility limitations a platform, through social media, to collectively share resources and information. This information gives our members, their families, and caregivers the tools necessary to help individuals with spinal cord injuries/mobility limitations reintegrate back into living a healthy productive life.

Sometimes, a wheelchair, walker, shower chair, or an everyday care item can mean much more than just an object.
It can mean more comfort, more independence, and a little more peace of mind in everyday life. ♿❤️

That is why we are happy to share this collaboration between PUSHRIM FOUNDATION in the United States and Don Bosco Sobre Ruedas A.C. in Mexico. Together, we are bringing different mobility equipment and support items closer to people with disabilities.

Every person has different needs. Every story is unique. And when we bring together resources, experience, and the desire to help, we can create new opportunities for our community.

It is not only about providing equipment.
It is about supporting, connecting, and reminding people that no one should feel alone on this journey.

Thank you to everyone who, in one way or another, is part of this effort.

Cada persona tiene necesidades diferentes. Cada historia es única. Y cuando unimos recursos, experiencia y voluntad de ayudar, podemos abrir nuevas oportunidades para nuestra comunidad.

Today we commemorate World Spinal Cord Injury Day. ♿️💙

From Pushrim Foundation, we want to remind everyone that a spinal cord injury can change a life, but it does not have to limit a person’s dreams, goals, or opportunities.

Our commitment is to continue creating spaces for inclusion, physical activity, community, and opportunities, where every person can feel heard, supported, and capable of reaching their full potential.

Today, we recognize the strength of every person living with a spinal cord injury, the support of their families and caregivers, and everyone working every day to build a more accessible and inclusive society.

Because inclusion is not just about opening doors.
It’s about making sure that everyone has the opportunity to walk—or roll—through them and be part of it.

10 years ago, individuals with mobility disabilities took the City of Los Angeles to court over its crumbling, impassable sidewalks—and won. The Willits v. The City of Los Angeles settlement promised $1.37 billion in sidewalk repairs and curb ramps over 30 years– a commitment to move LA towards safe accessible streets for all.

So how’s it going? Ask anyone using a wheelchair🦽, a white cane 🦯, a walker, or a stroller: not well☹️.
