If you’re able to join us, please RSVP. The first 25 people to RSVP will receive a free t-shirt! We’d also really appreciate it if you could share the invitation with others in your organization and encourage them to RSVP so we have a head count of the number of participants we should anticipate.
10 years ago, individuals with mobility disabilities took the City of Los Angeles to court over its crumbling, impassable sidewalks—and won. The Willits v. The City of Los Angeles settlement promised $1.37 billion in sidewalk repairs and curb ramps over 30 years– a commitment to move LA towards safe accessible streets for all.

So how’s it going? Ask anyone using a wheelchair🦽, a white cane 🦯, a walker, or a stroller: not well☹️.

Fishing is more than just catching fish—it’s about freedom, friendship, confidence, and creating unforgettable memories.

At Pushrim Foundation, we’re proud to make the outdoors accessible for individuals with disabilities through our Fishing with Pushrim – “Reels on Wheels” program. Whether you’re an experienced angler or trying fishing for the very first time, there’s a place for you.

💙 Join us as a participant and experience the joy of adaptive fishing in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.

🤝 Support our mission by making a donation, volunteering, or contributing new or gently used fishing equipment. Every contribution helps us provide adaptive fishing experiences that change lives.

Together, we can remove barriers, build community, and prove that adventure has no limits.

We celebrated much more than an event; we celebrated a community that believes in inclusion.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and was part of this amazing experience during Disability Awareness Month. Your presence made this day truly special.

We also want to express our sincere gratitude to Exotic Mobil Wash for their incredible support in providing wheelchair washing and detailing for our attendees. Gestures like this reflect the true meaning of serving the community.

It fills us with joy to see so many people come together to celebrate Disability Awareness Month. Thank you to the entire community that joined us, shared smiles, and supported this inclusive initiative.

A very special thank you to Exotic Mobil Wash for donating their time and services to wash and detail the wheelchairs of our attendees. Their support made a huge difference and showed that small acts of solidarity can have a big impact.
