for this week’s volunteer spotlight, we highlight our own graphic design intern, .harr 🙌

brittany is new to our WeWyll team but is already making a huge and incredible impact. a current student, brittany also works on the creative strategy team at the carolina agency and is a dispensary technician at the charleston h**p collective.

brittany’s favorite volunteer activities are anything she can see having a direct impact on someone’s life. “i volunteer because it helps bring people together. i love getting to hear other people’s stories and exchanging love and compassion in the process.” 

one of her favorite organizations to volunteer for is an organization that supports girls all over los angeles in areas of physical activity and confidence building.

for this week’s , we are mixing it up and highlighting one of our own, our social media intern, ! 💪
nathaniel, a graduate, wears many hats as he currently works as a blogger for what’s poppin la, a gns marketing staff member for the los angeles clippers and also handles the social media manager duties for WeWyll.

nathaniel’s favorite volunteer opportunity is anything involving working with organizations that help give kids access to sports, especially those who might not be able to afford it. “sports can sometimes be a financial hurdle for some families and that should never have to be the case. kids should be able to play any sport they love without having to worry about the financial aspect of it.”

nathaniel’s favorite volunteer organization is , specifically the sports branch. they have programs that allow kids to participate in skill camps for their favorite sports without having to pay some crazy fee to be able to get better at the sport they love.

for this week’s volunteer spotlight, we illuminate someone accustomed to having the spotlight on them — comedian ᴠɪɴɴʏ ꜰᴀꜱʟɪɴᴇ] 🎭

vinny is a los angeles-based comic who loves to give back. he knows a lot of people need help out there and that we - as volunteers - can give it to them. “it feels great to bring joy to those that definitely can use it.”

vinny’s favorite volunteer activity is throwing pizza parties at children’s hospitals and hanging out with the kids. “everyone loves pizza and laughs. The smiles on those kids’ faces are priceless.”

vinny’s favorite volunteer organization is - a non-profit organization that he and a bunch of comedians teamed up with to volunteer at the children’s hospitals. they put on blood drives, bring toys to kids, throw pizza parties and help anyone in need.
