What exactly is Phở King? 🍜🤴🏻
Phở King is an annual male pageant hosted by UCSB's Vietnamese Student Association since 2001. The original purpose behind Phở King was aimed at presenting an image of Asian males that did not coincide with common stereotypes of Asian Americans in mainstream media. In past years, Phở King has developed to double as a charity show in which all the proceeds go to a charity of our choice. This year's charity will be announced as the event date draws closer!
