📣 School Supplies for Success is here!

For most families, back-to-school means shopping for new notebooks, pencils, and backpacks. But for thousands of students in Los Angeles experiencing homelessness, those basic school supplies are simply out of reach.

From July 1 through August 31 we’re building 9,000 complete school supply kits that will be distributed to students through our ® program; helping children start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

Every kit includes:

Sixty years of new shoes, new clothes, and new school years. In 1966, Assistance League® of Los Angeles rang the bell for ®, dressing 169 children for school. Today the program reaches nearly 10,000 LA students a year.

All season long we are celebrating 60 years of this work, and the members, volunteers, and donors who make it possible. Follow along.
