Students are experiencing a range of emotions — anxiety, grief, anger, hope — as they learn about climate change. Climate Mental Health Network, Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation, and The Los Angeles Trust for Children's Health are hosting a free workshop on teaching climate change while supporting student (and teacher) wellbeing — open to educators of any subject, grades 6-8.

Selected LA County schools qualify for a $200 stipend, courtesy of Clean Power Alliance. Spots are limited.

What keeps families from getting behavioral health support for their kids? We asked LA Unified parents.

Through our Youth Mental Health Collaborative, funded by The California Endowment, we partnered with to hear directly from caregivers. They named real barriers: stigma, confidentiality concerns, confusing paperwork and referrals, and fear that asking for help could lead to child welfare involvement.
