Momma D and I went to see ponies today!!! They were not what I was expecting but I still had a lot of fun. I saw Grace’s Gearbox and we laid down while the hoomans talked for a while.

After looking at the ponies, we went to beach. It was my first time but I hope not my last time!! I was sooo good. I got a little silly when mom let me but she made me llw across the sand first. I really like walking in the sand.

I went to the dentist with Mom K today. I was quite curious about those rubber hoses at first, but then settled and took a little nap! Mom said I was a very good boy and she was happy her appointment went smoothly.

Yesterday, mom and I got up super early and took a long drive to Anaheim! The Orange County Transit Authority held a service animal training day. I saw all kinds of service and therapy dogs. Some were big and some were super small. Some looked like me and some looked really different. It was a great learning experience for me.

We did some work inside the station on our paw pads with other GDA friends. It was super challenging because Sierra and Abby kept making us pups get closer and closer to our friends and we weren’t even allowed to say hello or play! At one point we were side by side and nose to nose…ok maybe not quite nose to nose but close enough!

We took a group picture where we were again side by side with different friends. It was sooo hard not to say hi.

We got on a bus and had other pups walk in front of us and sit next to and in front of us. One looked super different than me!

We got to Downtown Disney and walked through security where I had to go through a metal detector all by myself! I was super brave and followed all of mom’s commands! I think I impressed the security person with how well I behaved.

We walked around stores, food places, and even went into a candy shop which smelled soooo good! The cast members were really excited to see and talk to us! We also saw some of the other therapy dogs meeting people. I got to say hi to some older ladies who started asking us questions about why there were soooo many dogs around. We talked for a bit and I settled nicely. Mom let me say hi to them and I was super excited but stayed with all paws on the ground like I have been taught. They did mention how excited I was to meet them. I had my wiggly butt going.

We walked a bit more and practiced some skills and before I knew it, it was time to get back on the bus to head home. I took a much needed nap on the way home.

I had a great day!!!

I went out with friends last night!!!! Us pups settled while all our hoomans were eating dinner. Fable and I sat across from each other. We said hi then settled right in to wait for dinner to be over.

After dinner we worked on some skills. It was a fun night. I hope we do it again!

We are taking it easy today at home since mom is working. But I have a really big adventure planned for tomorrow…I can’t wait to share it with you.

As a puppy in training for Guide Dogs of America - Tender Loving Canines, it’s important for me to learn how to settle in a crate. I sleep in my crate nightly, and am also taking my naps there. My crate is in mom and dad’s bedroom. I’m getting good at sleeping there alone in the room during the day, even when I can hear my hoomans and Ria downstairs! They can watch how I’m doing with what they call a puppy cam.

Yesterday was sooo much fun. After saying hi and talking about my job to lots of people, I got to explore the farm. I visited with horses, ducks, alpacas, turkeys, chickens, ostriches, and other farm animals. I was a very polite gentleman and was curious about all my new friends.

I even got to walk in a vegetable field where people can pick their own veggies! I did not get any veggies but I ate lots of extra kibble yesterday. Mom only gave me part of dinner because I had soo much she even made it hard with a puzzle bowl so it felt like I was getting my whole dinner. That was a mean trick!!

Today is going to be a quieter day with a much shorter outing. Then I get to go back and see Mama Ria!!! Life is sooo good!

I went to a people doctor today. I was such a good boy and settled pretty well. I did want pets and I did try to get some but mom put me back in a down stay. Maybe next time. I practiced my jump on and off and got told how cute my jump off is. Maybe next time we will get it on video! I think it’s a normal jump. I then say a little girl jumping and skipping and I thought that was a really fun way to walk so I tried it too. Mom wished she had gotten that on video. She said I was so cute!
