Santa Fe Springs was the first city in California to go pink in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, we proudly celebrate 21 years of advocacy, education, and awareness in our community.

As the city lights up in pink, we remember the fighters, honor the survivors, and hold close the memory of those we have lost. 💗🎀

We want every person driving through our beautiful city during the month of October—seeing the pink lights, the pink bridge, and our community shining bright💕to know that Santa Fe Springs stands together in support of a cause that is so very special and near and dear to our hearts.

Thank you, Santa Fe Springs, for 21 years of coming together, spreading awareness, and keeping hope alive. 💗

Breast self-exam, or regularly examining your breasts on your own, can be an important way to find a breast cancer early, when it’s more likely to be treated successfully. While no single test can detect all breast cancers early, We believe that performing breast self-exam in combination with other screening methods can increase the odds of early detection.

Every Wednesday, she proudly wears pink to support the fight against breast cancer. On Wednesdays, we wear pink to honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and remember those who are no longer with us.

It’s also a reminder to perform your monthly breast self-exam.
