At Women’s Voices Now, we challenge perceptions and stereotypes that limit the advancement of women and girls around the world. Using the power of film, we contribute to a culture shift that supports consistent and sustainable progress toward gender equality. We do so through our WVN online Film Festival, our youth development program Girls' Voices Now and our free online Film Collection.

This October, the Mexican-American multimedia journalist, producer, and voice actor will join Girls’ Voices Now as the Summit’s moderator + MC, helping facilitate conversations and bring together a day of storytelling, creativity, and connection.

Carmen is also our 2026 Women Making Waves Awardee, recognized for her work and leadership in storytelling.

Come spend the day with us, meet other young storytellers, and be part of the conversations happening throughout the Summit.
