On Sunday, February 15, Angelenos will gather to plant native species, water and maintain seedlings, and support ongoing restoration work in the canyon ecosystem in Tuxuunga Canyon. It
will be an active and hands-on morning where volunteers can directly impact the land while honoring the cultural history and the ancestral homelands of the Tongva people.

🌳💚 Huge shoutout to our friends at TreePeople! 💚🌳
We’re so grateful for their generous donation of 20 Coast Live Oak seedlings to support our ongoing land rematriation efforts at Tuxuunga, and an additional 60 seedlings that will be gifted to Indigenous Peoples Day participants this year! 🌿✨
These mighty little oaks represent more than trees — they’re symbols of renewal, relationship, and resilience. Together, we’re restoring the land and deepening our shared connection to it. 🌎💫
