Today I experienced something real.

Not something I read.
Not something I was told.
Something I actually felt within myself.

As Julio—and as the founder of The Basics of Life—
I’m always seeking truth, growth, and alignment with people who are truly doing the work.

Today, I want to show love and deep respect to
Lady Lallaine Reed
and
David L Reed

for opening a door for me.

Through Lady’s guidance, I became aware of a level of focus and connection within my own body that I had never tapped into before.

I felt something between my hands—
a sensation I can only describe as energy… like magnets.

I’m not here to explain it.
I’m here to say I experienced it.

But what stood out even more than the experience…

is who they are.

Lady is not only a martial artist—
she is an author, healer, and teacher dedicated to helping others grow physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Together, through R.A.M.A. (Reed’s Active Martial Arts & Wellness Club),
they’ve built a space rooted in discipline, respect, self-defense, and true personal development.

Their mission is to help people reach their highest potential and live productive, self-fulfilled lives through martial arts.

And you can feel that when you’re around them.

At The Basics of Life, we believe in aligning with people and spaces that are truly building others—mind, body, and spirit.

This is one of those spaces.

I’m still learning.
Still observing.
Still grounding myself in the experience.

🚨 Santa Monica — What Are You Doing?

I watched your “street teams” today.
They claim to help the homeless, but what I saw was fear, confusion, and no real solutions.

How is this the police’s job?

They’re trained to protect and serve — not to play social worker, therapist, or housing coordinator.

Every time you send officers instead of professionals, you send the message:

“Move along. You’re not welcome here.”

So let me ask you this —
Should I gather every unhoused person in our community and bring them to City Hall, so you can finally see what you’ve been ignoring?

You have the power, the money, and the visibility to lead by example for the world.

Stop displacing people.
Stop locking restrooms.
Stop pretending compassion means citations.

Send real help.
Send trained professionals.
Send humanity.

Because this isn’t about politics —
it’s about life. 🕊️

The Truth for the People

We have forgotten how sacred life is.

People are starving not only for food but for meaning, for love, for peace in their souls.

We are drowning in noise, division, and fear.

But the truth is simple—so simple that the world has buried it under religions, politics, and power.

The truth is this:

Every human being is born with the same light within them.

No one is lesser.

No one is more divine.

We all come from the same Source.

And because of that, we are responsible for one another.

It doesn’t matter which book you read, which prophet you honor, or which language you pray in.

What matters is that you live with compassion, that you defend the innocent, that you share what you have so no one is left in the cold.

That is worship.

That is faith.

That is the basics of life.

If there is a God—and I believe there is—He is not waiting to punish us for questions or doubt.

He is waiting for us to finally live by what He already placed in our hearts: justice, mercy, and love.

So let’s stop arguing over who owns God.

Let’s feed the hungry.

House the homeless.

Heal the sick.

Protect the earth that keeps us alive.

Let’s start there—because that’s where God lives: in the act of helping each other.

It is beyond shameful that while innocent lives in are lost daily, our tax dollars are being spent on destruction rather than relief. How do we justify bombing the very aid meant to save lives? This cycle of devastation achieves nothing. It’s a waste of , morality, and .

Right now, are , are crumbling, and families are left to suffer in darkness. Gaza is a catastrophe, and we are complicit. are funneled into , while the people in desperate need of , , and are blocked from receiving aid.

This must .

We immediate :

1. Deliver humanitarian aid without restrictions: Food, water, medicine, and must flow into Gaza without interference.

2. Redirect tax dollars to save lives, not destroy them: Our money should be spent on rebuilding , not fueling despair.

3. Hold accountable: The blockade and targeting of aid must end. No more excuses.

President , you hold the power to stop this . President , we call on you to use your influence to demand . Together, you can prevent further bloodshed.
