Chabad Treatment Center was built on a deeply Jewish idea: that every soul is precious, every person has infinite worth, and no one should ever be given up on.

Our roots come from the teachings of the Rebbe and the Chabad philosophy of unconditional love, compassion, and responsibility for one another. In Judaism, saving a single life is considered as if you saved an entire world. That belief is at the heart of everything we do.

Every day, people walk through our doors carrying pain, fear, and uncertainty. We do our best to meet them with acceptance, dignity, and hope. Not because they have earned it, but because every Jewish soul — every human soul — deserves it.

Recovery is more than getting sober. It is a journey of returning home to yourself, reconnecting with your purpose, and discovering the light that was always there beneath the struggle.

That is the foundation of Chabad. That is the foundation of our program.

We are incredibly proud of our graduate Ramiro, who now works on the front lines in Skid Row helping people recover from addiction.

There is something powerful about seeing someone who once needed help become the person helping others. Every day, Ramiro uses his experience, compassion, and recovery to reach people who are struggling and show them that change is possible.

This is what recovery is all about — not just rebuilding your own life, but reaching back and helping the next person find their way.

Thank you, Ramiro, for carrying the message and making a difference where it is needed most.

A new week. A new opportunity. A new chance to change your life.

Pictured here are Drew and Nate, two people who know firsthand that recovery is possible. Every week brings a fresh start, no matter what happened yesterday. The important thing is to keep showing up, stay willing, and continue moving forward.

You don’t have to change your whole life in one day. Just make the next right decision and let the process work. Small actions, repeated consistently, can lead to extraordinary results.

Here’s to a new week of growth, recovery, and second chances.

Sean and Sandy helping keep the wheels turning in our IOP program.

Behind every great program are people who genuinely care, and these two show up every day ready to help clients take the next step in their recovery. Whether it’s running groups, checking in with clients, solving problems, or simply being available when someone needs support, they are committed to helping people build better lives.

Recovery is a team effort, and we’re grateful to have Sean and Sandy helping lead the way. One conversation, one group, and one day at a time.

Today we celebrated Stephen Ferguson's last day at Chabad Treatment Center.

To thank him for all of his hard work and dedication, we surprised him with a cake and took a moment to recognize the impact he has had on our clients and our community. Throughout his time here, Stephen has helped countless people navigate recovery and take important steps toward building better lives.

While we are sad to see him go, we are excited for him as he begins this next chapter. We wish him nothing but success, happiness, and blessings in all of his future endeavors.

Thank you, Stephen, for everything you have done. You will always be part of the Chabad family.

One of the reasons the Torah is so important in recovery is that it teaches a powerful truth: people can change.

Again and again, the Torah shows us that our past does not have to define our future. We are never stuck. We are never too far gone. Every day is an opportunity to begin again, make a better choice, and move closer to the person we were meant to be.

In sobriety, that message is everything. The Torah reminds us to live with purpose, take responsibility for our actions, help others, and never lose hope. No matter how dark things may seem, there is always a path forward.

Recovery is about more than staying sober. It is about returning to your true self. The Torah has been guiding people on that journey for thousands of years.

Welcome back to our intake coordinator Dmitriy, who just returned from a beautiful trip to Greece with his fiancée.

Stories like his remind us why we do this work. Recovery is about so much more than putting down drugs and alcohol. It’s about building a life filled with purpose, relationships, adventure, and experiences you may have never thought possible.

When you put in the work, stay committed to change, and trust the process, amazing things can happen. What once seemed impossible can become reality.

Every recovery journey starts somewhere.

For many people, it starts in one of these chairs. Nervous. Uncertain. Scared. Hopeful.

Today, Head Counselor Nate sits where countless clients have sat before taking the first step toward a new life. What begins as an intake can become sobriety, restored relationships, purpose, and freedom.

Never underestimate the power of walking through the door and asking for help. It might just be the decision that changes everything.

Richard, Jerry, and Les are wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead.

Together, they are a reminder that recovery is possible. No matter where you start, how many setbacks you’ve had, or how impossible things may seem, a better life is within reach when you stay connected and keep moving forward.

At Chabad Treatment Center, we see miracles happen every day. People change, families heal, and hope returns. Recovery is real, and it starts with one day, one decision, and one step at a time.

Have a great week, stay grateful, and remember — there is always hope.

Shabbat Shalom from Sean and Edva!

As we welcome Shabbos, we want to wish our entire Chabad Treatment Center family a peaceful, meaningful, and restorative weekend.

Shabbos is a reminder that no matter how busy the week has been, there is always time to slow down, reconnect, and appreciate the blessings in our lives. It is a time to gather with loved ones, reflect with gratitude, and nourish the soul.

May this holy day bring you peace, joy, healing, and renewed strength for the week ahead.

Good Shabbos from Sean and Edva, and from all of us at Chabad Treatment Center.
