Sharing some adorable behind-the-scenes from the Land Rover litter’s vet visits last week! 🩺🐾

These little ones came in for their wellness exams, and we couldn’t resist sharing a few of the sweet moments along the way. From curious faces to lots of cuddles, they were all absolute pros at their checkups, and we’re happy to report that all of their wellness exams went perfectly! 🥹

A big thank you to Animal Clinic of Encino & Animal Hospital of Redondo Beach for taking such great care of our pups and helping give them the healthiest start possible!
And while most of the Land Rover litter has already found their forever homes, sweet Evie is still waiting for hers. If interested in adopted her, head to hitlivingfoundation.com/adopt! 💛

Honor has so much love to give. She just needs someone who will give her a forever home to share it with. 💛🥹

She is 9 years old, weighs 24 pounds and is a spaniel mix with a chestnut-brown soft, feathered coat. Honor is mama to the Land Rover litter, one of seven who came to us from El Cajon after a family who couldn’t keep the group. Thanks to fosters, we were able to step in to help.

She carries a little wear on her teeth that hints at a past we can’t fully piece together. She also has some mild arthritis, managed with a joint supplement, and it hasn’t slowed down how much love she has to give. 🥹

In her foster home she lives with a 6lb. Chihuahua, and the two of them cohabitate like old friends. Honor adores the daughter in her foster family and lights up around kids in general, seeking out human affection any chance she gets. She does great with other dogs, loves kids, and will absolutely take a pup cup if you’re offering. Once she found a comfy dog bed, that became her whole world, though given the choice she’d rather be pressed up against someone she loves than curled up alone.

If you think Honor sounds like the right fit for your family, head to hitlivingfoundation.org/adopt to apply. ✨

Ivy recently had a beach day where we learned that she loves to sunbathe 🥹☀️

She did amazing at the beach and was so brave exploring this new environment. She stayed close to her people and loved playing (as long as the water didn’t touch her 😂).

Stay tuned for updates on our sweet girl ✨

Scottie has a way of making life feel a little calmer. He’s the kind of dog who’s simply happy to be by your side, and his steady, gentle presence makes home feel complete. 💛

In his foster home, he’s proven himself to be the easiest companion. His foster describes him as “the calmest, sweetest dog,” happy to take each day as it comes. He loves people, adores kids, and greets both familiar and new faces with quiet friendliness. He’s great with other dogs and comfortable around cats, playful when the moment calls for it but never over the top.

On leash, Scottie is an easy walking partner, happy to stroll along at your side. His energy level is right in the middle: he enjoys walks and a bit of playtime, then is more than content to settle in for a nap. He’s partially house trained and is still learning not to mark indoors, so he’ll do best with someone willing to patiently reinforce his good habits.

Scottie would thrive with someone who’s home much of the time, whether retired, semi-retired, or working from home, where he can be the loyal sidekick he was born to be. He’d be just as happy as your one and only or sharing his home with other calm, friendly pets.

If you’re interested in adopting Scottie, head to hitlivingfoundation.org/adopt to submit an application! ✨

🐾 Meet Lucy, formerly Elsa who was adopted from us in 2022 and help us find her furever 💛

Lucy’s owner loves her deeply but has had a significant change in her work schedule and feels she can no longer give Lucy the life she deserves. She’s looking for the right person to take that over, and we want to help get her there.

Lucy is a devoted, cuddly dog who bonds hard with her person and gives it all back. At home she’s easy, eats from a slow feeder, does great in the car, and goes to doggy daycare twice a week with six other dogs. She has excellent recall off leash at the park and loves a good run. Not big on fetch or toys, but she can sniff on walks and when she’s off leash at the park for days. ✨

Lucy could go to a home with another dog. She hasn’t been around a lot of kids but has done well when she has, especially when she’s being loved on.

💛 Lucy needs someone who wants a devoted, affectionate dog who will show up every day. She’s already great at this. She just needs the right home.

If you’re interested, send us a DM or head to hitlivingfoundation.org/adopt to learn more!

These doggos are ADOPTED! 🎉

They’ve already started living their best lives with their forever families they’ve been waiting for!

Thank you to everyone who was a part of their journey! From the fosters who opened their homes, to the volunteers who showed up day after day, to the transporters who made sure every pup got where they needed to go, this is what makes it all possible!

And to our adopters... thank you for choosing rescue and giving these dogs the happy endings they deserve! 💛

Happy tails cuties! 🐾✨
