Our mission is to save, support, strengthen and sustain Ukraine Together, hand in hand, invincible we stand!

ABOUT US
Stand With Ukraine Foundation was set up in Los Angeles long before the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. While Russian troops were amassing around the borders of Ukraine, and conducting their supposed "military exercises," most of the world were spectators just waiting for what would happen next, but we acted. The Stand With Ukraine movement in Los Angeles was the first to initiate international rallies in support of Ukraine a whole month before the war. Today we are the #1 glocal (local and global) movement to support, strengthen and sustain Ukraine, the frontline of world freedom, democratic values and peace, being defended with the lives of the brave. For all our efforts, SWU Foundation has been recognized by many governmental agencies and public officials, including the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco and California State Senator Josh Newman, among others. We have been spotlighted on all major national TV news channels, as well as radio, printed and online media. ACTIVISM AND ADVOCACY
Our volunteers ceaselessly organize rallies and campaigns supporting Ukraine in the USA and around the world. We lobby effectively to influence critical political decisions, changing the course of the war in favor of Ukraine. AID TO UKRAINE AND VOLUNTEER CENTERS
SWU Foundation runs multiple volunteer centers handling humanitarian aid. We purchase, collect, package and ship life-saving medical aid, as well as basic military supplies, all of which Ukraine desperately needs as a result of the Russian invasion. CULTURAL DIPLOMACY
As a crucial part of our activity, we promote the Ukrainian language and culture at our events, showcasing Ukrainian art, music, and traditions for the sake of our civic duty to the Glory of Ukraine. SWU Foundation stands for the protection of cultural rights which are essential to sustaining a peaceful inclusive society.

At the end of summer, we count our blessings. And among ours are two very special names: Justina and Mindaugas. 💙🇱🇹💛 This summer, Justina and Mindaugas completed their Los Angeles chapter and returned to Lithuania. Looking back at their years here, we express our gratitude beyond measure.

Throughout their mission in LA, they wholeheartedly supported Stand With Ukraine Foundation, standing with us at rallies, community gatherings and events, in moments of celebration and sorrow, hope and hardship. They showed up. Again,and again, and again...

Among countless moments, just to mention a few that remain especially close to our hearts. Justina’s deeply moving speech in Ukrainian, as we marked four years of Russia’s full-scale invasion, still resonates in our hearts. Some words are heard in the moment. Others stay with you. Hers did. Mindaugas, a reserve officer of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, chose to spend Lithuanian Armed Forces Day standing with Ukraine at our rally during one of our darkest hours. These moments say more than any formal declaration of solidarity ever could.

Somewhere along the way, these wonderful allies became beloved friends and true family. And that friendship remains. Ukrainians and Lithuanians understand deeply that our freedom, security and future are connected. Our hearts beat in unison for freedom.

Dear Justina and Mindaugas, wherever life takes you, we know you carry Ukraine in your hearts. And that means the world to us. The geography changes. The friendship does not. The heartbeat continues.

Today marks 35 years of Ukraine’s restored independence — a celebration of freedom, courage, resilience, and the unbreakable spirit of a nation. 🇺🇦

Ukraine’s story of independence reaches far beyond these 35 years. For generations, Ukrainians have fought to preserve their identity, culture, language, and the right to determine their own future.

Today, that freedom continues to be defended every single day. On this Independence Day, we honor those who gave their lives for Ukraine’s freedom and those who continue to stand in its defense.

May Ukraine always remain free, strong, sovereign, and independent.

Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes! 💙💛

Ahead of Ukraine’s 35th Independence Day, Stand With Ukraine Foundation is deeply honored to receive this resolution from the City of Los Angeles, dedicated to the brave people of Ukraine.

Our cordial gratitude to Mayor Karen Bass, Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martínez, and the entire Los Angeles City Council for standing with Ukraine and helping its blue and yellow shine across the City of Angels.

This Independence Day, may Ukraine’s celestial lights remind the world: freedom has a price, freedom has a voice, and freedom must prevail. We stand with Ukraine, together, until victory and a just, lasting peace. 🇺🇦

We were honored to deliver a Chuika Drone Detector by BlueBird to Qnesko, a Ukrainian military pilot, along with a small but heartfelt gift from American children at Santa Monica Elementary School. 🇺🇦🇺🇸

We are deeply grateful to Qnesko and his brothers-in-arms for their courage, sacrifice, and for protecting Ukraine every single day. 💙💛

In return, Qnesko gave us a special T-shirt to raffle off among those who participate in our new “35 for 35” fundraiser - our campaign to provide 35 Mini Starlinks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in honor of Ukraine’s 35th Independence Day.
